Some Characteristics of the Waybread (<i>Plantago major</i> L.) During its Settlement in a High-Altitude Area

The aim of this work is to study some characteristics the waybread ( Plantago major L.) during its settlement on anthropogenically disturbed territories highlands. studied traits were: plant height, number inflorescences per individual, seeds inflorescence, seed mass, percentage germination and rate. studies were conducted in 2013, 2014 2018 at altitudes 200, 600, 2050 2700 m above sea level territory Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (Central Caucasus). It was revealed that National Park “Priel`brus`e” there an invasion P. by construction cable cars, located (2700 m). During a species have changed under influence extreme conditions plants height decreases, mass increases their according altitude gradient.
